More than 70 young adults gathered at Casey Seventh-day Adventist Church in Melbourne, Victoria, for ‘Culture Café’ on August 29.
Culture Café is a ministry hosted by the young adults of Casey Church, which aims to provide a safe space for young people who are seeking community and Jesus, regardless of their background.
The program, which occurs on the last Friday night of each month, includes a free dinner and a short worship service. It is then followed by the café, which serves hot drinks and desserts.
Each month also creates an opportunity for collaboration between youth groups, as different speakers and music groups from around Victoria are invited to participate in the program.
Casey Church youth leader Natacha Waterstone said, “It’s a blessing to see the youth come together from all across Victoria — breaking barriers, building each other up, and strengthening others in the faith.”
