Utilising various platforms, including social media, printed magazines, and audio-visual tools, the Communications department strives to create a welcoming and interactive conference media presence that conveys God’s love and supports Victoria’s disciple-making movement.

By sharing the stories of our Victorian Adventist community, we are helping people get to know Jesus and experience the hope that comes from a relationship with Him.

Livestreaming Notices

If your church livestreams services, it is important to notify those that are attending, and provide designated 'privacy' zones for those who do not want to be on camera. Below are notices you can use around your church and during your service.

Choose your prefered design, then print and display posters clearly around your church.

Photo/Recording Notices

If your church holds a public event, you may use photos and videos from the event that do not specifically identify people by name. Since church services are public events, the attendees likely have no expectation of privacy.

However, we recommend having notices around your event (e.g. posters, bulletins, included in the invitation) as a form of courtesy for those attending. Spaces where photography and filming are not permitted/avoided should be designated for those needing them.

You can find examples of wording below.

Notice of Filming and Photography

"When you attend this event, you enter an area where photography, audio, and video recording may occur. By entering the event premises, you consent to such recording media and its release, publication, exhibition or reproduction."
Crowd Release/Notice of Filming and Photography

"When you attend this event, you enter an area where photography, audio, and video recording may occur. By entering the event premises, you consent to such recording media and its release, publication, exhibition or reproduction of any and all recorded media of your appearance, voice, and name for any purpose whatsoever in perpetuity in connection with the Victorian Conference and its initiatives, including, by way of example only, use on websites, in social media, news and advertising."

Adventist Place

Websites designed specifically for churches without a tech-savvy webmaster. Adventist Place is created and managed by Adventist Media. The Victorian Conference cannot assist with troubleshooting.

Adventist Identity and Branding

Straight from the SPD, learn how to appropriately use the Adventist logo for signage, social media, and more. You can also use the logo maker to generate your own Adventist logo for your church.
